Splint evolved from close observation of nature. Like wood grains or the fissures in tree bark, the printed metallic lines blend with their backgrounds (Brentano’s soft “hand” polyurethane) for a soothing vertical texture. Despite this illusion of delicacy, Splint’s performance features — including a solvent resistant finish, bleach cleanability and an antibacterial treatment — make it a durable healthcare, hospitality and retail fabric.
