Inside Sales and Sales Support Chicago Territory
We are currently seeking a knowledgable and detail oriented individual to join our Mart based Chicago sales team. As part of the team, you will work with other customer service representatives to process all orders and client requests received on a daily basis. You will serve as the main point of contact for our Chicago based outside sales team, and a direct resource for showroom-based clients, including taking orders while also maintaining and growing new and existing relationships. The role will require a detailed working knowledge or Brentano’s products (training will be given) and an understanding of the high-end textile industry. Located in our Chicago Merchandise Mart Showroom, you must be comfortable with heavy phone and email traffic to be successful in this position, while being flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the Company and clients alike. Maintaining the showroom appearance and display is a key part of the role and will require communication with our marketing and merchandising departments. You will also directly be involved in showroom events, including NeoCon and after-hours designer events.
Customer Service Team Member
The successful candidate will have strong customer focus and ability to process and interpret significant amounts of data on a daily basis. Our new team member must have excellent written and spoken communication skills and be an assertive critical thinker. The ideal person will have an approachable personality, collaborate easily with peers and have a natural interest in going above and beyond.
As part of the team, you will work with 4-5 customer service representatives to process all orders and client requests received on a daily basis. You will serve as the main point of contact for our outside sales reps and clients for order related inquiries. In this role, you will be required to have a working knowledge or our products and industry and be able to answer basic inquiries related to our textile line. You must be comfortable with heavy phone and email traffic to be successful in this position.
Fabric Sample Service Representative
The Sample Service Representative will be required to work with our sample warehouse personnel as well as our sales reps and clients by phone and email. The overall function of this position is to support our sales activities as well as to initiate manufacturing orders.
The ideal candidate has exemplary customer service skills and prefers an active job that involves continuous movement, standing and working with your hands. Excellent people skills are required to maintain good working relationships with coworkers across departments and with our outside sales reps. The Sample Service Representative must be a lively, animated and energetic individual with both the physical and mental acumen to coordinate and prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects on a day to day basis.
Data Entry Specialist – Entry Level
The successful candidate will have a keen ability to process and interpret significant amounts of data on a daily basis. The ideal person will have an approachable personality, collaborate easily with peers and have a natural interest in working with and entering data.
As an Data Entry Specialist, you will assist our Customer Service and Operations departments in maintaining the company database. In this role, you will process shipping details for daily shipments and maintain inventory records for our products. The Data Entry Specialist will also coordinate third party shipments and international shipment consolidations in conjunction with our Customer Service department. They will also process shipping related claims as required by Customer Service and Sales force.
