3480 Kukuri

Kukuri — meaning “to tie” in Japanese — combines a fluid, large-scale shibori pattern with a heavy-duty wool base cloth. The unexpected pairing requires hand-printing so the dye will penetrate deeply, almost through the fabric. With the reliability of a print, Kukuri’s bold patterning comes through in three highly usable colorways (grey, taupe and blue/black) for contract and hospitality applications. Either an upholstery, panel or drapery, 42” Kukuri passes 50,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck).
