Embroidery stitch-like Holbein subtly embellishes healthcare and hospitality interiors with a refreshing and neutral palette. The 54” GreenShield upholstery (whose pattern mimics the intricacy of the cuffs and collars in Hans Holbein the Younger’s Renaissance portrait paintings) weaves together a solution-dyed nylon warp and a high energy-dyed, post-consumer recycled polyester weft — both bleach-cleanable! — for an abrasion resistance of 50,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck). Holbein includes an acrylic backing for stability and, with 67% recycled contents, joins the Brentano Green line of eco-friendly fabrics. Holbein is made with recycled fiber contents and as such is eligible for possible LEED points.
