6705 Hokusai

Japanese woodblock artist Katsushika Hokusai is most known for his work The Great Wave off Kanagawa, which Brentano interprets here in this 54” upholstery. Mimicking the contrast of straight and textured sides of woodblock printing, Hokusai is a flowing, large-scale pattern cast vertically instead of horizontally. Woven from 100% polyester and available in 5 earthy colors, this textile has a Teflon finish and acrylic backing, making it suitable for hotels and contract interiors seeking the look of silk. Passes 50,000 double rubs
(Wyzenbeek).
