Brentano’s first foray into the world of wallcovering murals is proving to be a big hit! Honored during this year’s NeoCon held at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, Haiku was announced as a 2023 MetropolisLikes winner.

Selected by Metropolis Editors, MetropolisLikes celebrates the best furnishings and finishes for creating healthy, sustainable, work-anywhere interiors. From the Metropolis website, “The products represent the very best in responsible innovation: they foreground a positive experience for all people, while being sensitive to the impact on the planet and its ecologies.”

Highlighted in the category of “Softening Spaces,” Brentano’s Haiku is a digitally printed wallcovering that gestures a bespoke woven beauty, depicting a dreamlike landscape of whimsical foothill forests and sumptuous gardens. At an 11’ vertical repeat, Haiku’s true-to-scale design sets the scene and transports onlookers into its simple, abstract landscape of semi-stylized brushstrokes and organic elements.
